The sole is hand stitched on the insole providing a superior finish and durability than the industrial system which is simply pasted. For staining it is manual dipped in a VEGETABLE colour, manual finishing by the usage of small brushes and as final step, drying at the open air. This process takes as a result called TUFFATO, which many companies do not spend more because it requires a work of extreme precision that slows down production time.

Very nicely made. I have high insteps so had to use a leathers stretching spray. They now fit perfectly. If you intend to wear them throughout the day, choose the rubber sole. I have the leather soles, look good but quite hard on the feet!

These sandals are simple,classy and beautiful - you could even wear them to a khaki suit and be totally in style, BUT:
1. Be careful if you choose the leather sole version because the can be very slippery on carpet, wet surfaces, stairs and even worn out cobblestone streets - I would definitly recommend the rubber sole if you want to wear them daily.
2. They were a bit thight in the beginning (probably depending on the shape of ones foot) but as you wear them after wearing them a couple of times the leather loosens and adapts to the foot.

The sandals are beautifully designed and after a short time very comfortable. The only problem were the shipping costs: They were at ca. CHF 20 - but then FedEx charged another CHF 30 for the handling of a custom fee they would not explain. Which almost doubled the price of the sandals. This came as a surprise, since on the website you suggested that shipping to Switzerland was easy...

The sandals are very high quality. Suggestion for improvement: The sole is very smooth, here the nan should let the customer choose which sole he wants.

Very nice and beautiful sandals, full leather, just sizes on the website are not very accurate, I'm 41 usually, but I bought 40 from the measures on the website. It is ok but would have been nicer to stay in 41.

I have had these sandals for a few years now and they are so comfortable; I can walk for miles in them. They are also very light and pack in my suitcase taking up very little room.
