The customer service is exceptional, Raffaella with whom I mostly corresponded was extraordinarily helpful at every step, even adding Indonesia to the company’s shipment area. I discovered during our correspondence that Gianluca was taught by a master calzolaio (shoemaker), who has passed away, and from whom I had bought several pairs of sandals over the years, when I lived in Florence and later during visits. I presently live in Indonesia, so I t has been a true gift to find Gianluca, as he will be one of the last of a small group of florentine shoe artisans remaining. We must protect them at all costs.
